Mr. Kamal Bahadur Poudyel is the Founder and Managing Director of Global Agro Products Ltd. He is also a Founding Director of Global Hatchery Pvt. Ltd., GAP Marketing Pvt. Ltd., Global Birds Pvt. Ltd., Global Transportation Pvt. Ltd., and Global Corporate Investment Pvt. Ltd.
With nearly three decades of professional experience in poultry marketing, finance, and agribusiness management, Mr. Poudyel has played a significant role in the growth and development of Nepal’s poultry industry. Before co-founding the Global Agro Group, he served in several key leadership and management positions in various poultry companies, where he gained extensive industry expertise and made valuable contributions to their growth, management, and operational success. He is also one of the major shareholders of Hotel Jungle Crown Pvt. Ltd., Chitwan.
In addition to his business leadership, Mr. Poudyel has remained actively involved in community service through Lions International. He is a Charter Member and Past President of the Lions Club of Chitwan Youth and currently serves as the District Co-Chief of Lions International District 325R Nepal. Through his involvement in Lions International, he continues to contribute to community development and social initiatives.
Mr. Poudyel holds a Master’s degree in Commerce from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. His academic background, combined with his extensive professional experience, has supported his leadership in business management, finance, marketing, and agribusiness.
Throughout his professional career, Mr. Poudyel has travelled extensively across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and other regions. He has visited India, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, China, South Korea, Malaysia, Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Vatican City, Bangladesh, Singapore, the Netherlands, Belgium, Qatar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka. These international experiences have provided him with valuable exposure to global business practices, modern management approaches, and technological advancements in the poultry and agribusiness sectors, contributing to his broader perspective and continued pursuit of business excellence in Nepal.
