Mr. Basanta Paudel is the Founding Chairman of Global Agro Products Pvt. Ltd., GAP Marketing Pvt. Ltd. and Global Protein and Oil Pvt. Ltd. He has also been serving as the Founding Director of Global Hatchery Pvt. Ltd. and Global Birds Pvt. Ltd. of this group. He is the Managing Director of B. Paudel and Company, an accounting and assurance consultancy institution. Mr. Paudel is also the director of College of Information Technology (CIT), Maulakalika Investment Pvt. Ltd. and the promotor of Prime Commercial Bank Ltd. He is playing active role in Auditor Association of Nepal as an Executive Central Committee Member and in Chitwan Industries Association as the Committee Member since last few years.
In the past, he was the Director of Kankai Bikas Bank, Executive Board Member in Development Banker’s Association of Nepal, the Financial Advisor/Consultant of Social Welfare Council (SWC) of Nepal for evaluating performance of INGOs and NGOs.
With an MBA degree in Profit Planning & Budgeting and Account & Taxation from Tribhuvan University, Nepal and a professional experience of over 2.5 decades; Mr. Paudel has been actively involved in various sectors of Accounting and Taxation, Finance and Banking, Agribusiness, Trading and Education during this period.
He has visited the countries like India, Thailand, Singapore, Qatar, UAE, China, South Korea, Malaysia, Russia, USA, Japan, Belgium, Italy, Vatican City, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Egypt, Latvia, Maldives, Turkey, United Kingdom, Bangladesh and Morocco.
